What Is Hyperdontia? Symptoms, Causes and Treatment

Hyperdontia, is also known as supernumerary teeth. This is a condition, that causes the growth of too many teeth in your mouth. Normally, in infants, the usual number of teeth is 20, and are known as primary teeth. When in adults there are 32 permanent teeth.  In hyperdontia, this number increases. Still, you may grow fewer teeth than the normal number. This condition is called hypodontia, and is the opposite of hyperdontia.
